A team from Zakho University attended the 100th anniversary of Kurdish scientist Mr. Mustafa Zalmi's birth in Erbil on Sunday, January 12, 2024. It is important to note that Nechirvan Barzani, the president of the Kurdistan Region, presided over the gathering. The Islamic Thought Conference and Dr. Mustafa Zalmi's Cultural Organization coordinated the conference. Numerous academic, political, and religious figures were present to celebrate this Kurdish scholar's efforts and struggles, particularly for his exceptional work in the field of assisting Kurdish women.
